They read the tagline into the court record. They quoted lyrics from another song into the court record. They named a third song — one that did not yet exist — into the court record.
The judge said three times: “Well, why don’t you just call the police?”
This song is the answer to his question.
“A song that does not yet exist cannot violate an order.
A song that names a public proceeding cannot be a crime.”
